It was her own son's love of peanut butter that prompted Cynthia Kagan Frohlichstein to write Perils of the Peanut Butter Kid.

Although Cynthia is an award-winning journalist, this is her first book. She has enjoyed varied and fulfilling careers as a fashon model, elementary school teacher, travel and feature writer, actress, community volunteer and proud mother and Grandma.

The book celebrated her 33-year survival after breast cancer surgery. So that others can share and profit from this celebration, a donation from every book sold will be given to Cancer Organizations.

Cynthia and her husband Harvey live in St. Louis, Missouri.
